The 12 and 18 Channel Desks have identical features and are designed for use in drama and stage lighting, these desks offer more facilities than comparable controllers. These have proved their reliability in countless locations throughout the world.
Each desk has 2 sets of preset faders, both fitted with a 0-360 second timer and a crossfade master. These advanced crossfade facilities allow great precision in the automated control of lighting fades, especially important for sunrise/sunset and similar effects. Dipless crossfade is a standard feature with a choice of ‘pile-adding’ or ‘averaging’ modes of operation.

Each channel has a flash button linked to a master disable switch. There is a Blackout switch for the faders of each preset, while a Grand Master controls the overall level of the desk. The 2 preset desks are designed with expandability in mind and you can easily set up a 24, 30 and 36 channel system by adding extra desks, cross-linking them and switching control to the master controls on one of the desks.
Analogue output with locking DIN sockets (DIN-DIN cables supplied) and DMX (1.5M trailing 5-pin XLR female) outputs are supplied on both models as standard.
A very useful facility these desks is the ability to convert analogue voltages applied to the DIN sockets into a DMX digital output format. This is particularly useful when using an 18 Channel 2 Preset Desk together with our 18 Channel Rock Desk as an "18 Channel Board" system, in this configuration the outputs of both desks will be transmitted via the DMX output.
