Illuminate 105 - ILLUM Copenhagen

At the heart of Copenhagen City Centre, you will find the longest and most famous pedestrian street known as Stroget. With its fashionable shops, cafes and department stores this street caters to everyone, especially the younger generations who enjoy the numerous exclusive designer stores. Along Stroget you will find the large department store ILLUM. The business was founded in 1891 by A. C. Illum and continued to be run by the family until
1972. Since then it has been sold several times, but is now owned by the Icelandic investment group I-Holdings.

Illuminate 104 - Zacatecas Mine

The history of the Zacatecas Mine in Mexico goes back to the 16th and 17th centuries when excavations began in the search for rich silver and gold deposits. In 1975 the mine became a nightclub, but in August 2004 the club closed in preparation for a substantial remodelling project that was completed in June 2005. Remodelling was not an easy task because the place is solid rock on which conventional tools are practically useless.

Illuminate 103 - Wet n'Wild

Problem; How do you provide a water slide with low-voltage, funkadelic disco lighting that won’t need constant maintenance? Solution; IP rated ChromaRange LED fixtures from Pulsar. When Orlando water park Wet n’ Wild designed their newest water ride, Disco H2O, US distributor Techni-Lux was boogieing right along with them plotting out a spectacular lighting design.

Illuminate 102 - Pulse

With a clear focus on re-defining nightlife in both Orlando and the central Florida region, Pulse mixes chic design aesthetics with a high spec’ technology package to create a venue with classy credentials. Following a trip to last year’s LDI show, installer Jeff Kenney convinced Pulse owner Ron Legler that the use of LED effects would create a unique and eye catching environment.

Illuminate 101 - Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre

The QEII Conference Centre (QEIICC), situated directly across from Westminster Abbey and the chimes of Big Ben has undergone a striking application of colour to their central London building exterior. To achieve this, the QEIICC management have embraced the latest developments in LED fixture technology by the integration of Pulsar ChromaFlood200 (CFLD200) fixtures into their exterior lighting scheme.
